Our Story
Our Foundation proudly consists of 17 dedicated board members and a volunteer branch known as "The Crew." Each year, we organize the Jingle Jam Market and the Denim and Diamonds Gala to raise essential funds.
The Foundation's current form was made possible by Todd Attalla's generous donation in memory of his wife, Carrie Attalla, a cherished Piedmont teacher. From the Carrie Attalla Memorial Fund and with continued community effort, we have grown a foundation that now provides over $25,000 annually in grants for teachers and schools.

Your support and involvement with the Piedmont Public Schools Education Foundation (PPSEF) enable us to increase the funds we provide to our schools each year and support additional initiatives such as student scholarships and school supplies. Together, we ensure that Piedmont remains one of the best places in the state to raise a family.

Our Mission
To support both students and teachers by providing financial resources for new
projects and creative approaches for existing programs, in order to prepare students for college and career.
Exciting Stuff
Over the past six years, our Foundation has awarded nearly 150 grants to Piedmont Public Schools educators. Since 2017, the Foundation has dispersed more than $110,000 in funds to Piedmont programs to enhance learning activities in classrooms across the district. We are eager to continue our tradition of awarding grants each year.
Our Commitment
At the Piedmont Education Foundation, we are dedicated to fostering an environment where both staff and students thrive. We believe in the power of education to shape brighter futures, and we are committed to providing the resources, support, and opportunities necessary to empower our community. By investing in our educators and inspiring our students, we strive to build a foundation for lifelong learning and success. Together, we will pave the way for a future filled with promise and possibility.
